Dark chocolate cake

Today hubby and I went to Black Canyon for coffee. I am not much of a "coffee-holic", but hubby sure is... and I think I am close to being one now! haha..

Black canyon cappuccino with crackers and tea... notice the "R"-shaped cookie there?:)
Black canyon's dark chocolate goes perfect with my sugar-free coffee!

Taking a photo of the cake or of the Black canyon tarp? :)
"Stolen" shot of me?

How fast time flies. It's officially our Christmas break at the Thai language school, and Christmas day has gone by before we knew it! This season we have learned (and re-learned) so many things-- being away from our families, it's so easy to say that Christmas won't be the same without them. But if we really come to think about it, Christmas is all about God's love manifested in the coming of Jesus to earth to save us. With or without our Christmas trees, those fancy lights, without our yummy Pinoy (Filipino) food, Christmas is still Christmas. God's love is still the same. Nothing and no one can change that. So we have every reason to be grateful. Happy holidays, friends!
